I tried auto-posting Monday's post since I knew I wouldn't have time with how crazy work is this week, but I think the carbmonster ate it. I swear, it was the carbmonster that ate my homework!
I have been in the Chick-Fil-A drive-thru so often recently I should probably consider changing my permanent address. For serious. That's how ridiculous it has gotten! I clearly need a fast-food intervention.
This weekend I'm going to be focusing on low-starch/low-sugar. Tonight after Zumba I will be hitting the grocery store and loading up my cart to make some Baked Cauliflower Soup. You got to try it if you haven't yet. So delish!
I'm not sure what else is on my list yet- definitely some healthy eats.
I had a major workout!fail on Tuesday. My Zumba class is at 6:00pm. It's only a few minutes from work and about 10-15 minutes from my house. I get off work at 4:30 and traffic is usually pretty fierce so I may get home a little after 5:00 to turn back around and leave by 5:40 to get to class. I decided to avoid traffic/added stress on Tuesday and headed to Zumba to walk around the neighborhood before class. Less than a tenth of a mile into my walk both of my lower legs cramped and my lower back siezed up. I was barely able to wobble back to my car.
It's so weird, I can dance/do zumba and go on the elliptical until I pass out but walking is always a problem. I believe it has something to do with the arch of my foot or my shoes. I've definitely experimented and tried at least five different workout/walking shoes with no avail. My slip-on sneakers are even better than any regular tie-on workout shoe.
